VIDEO: Medical system for Libyans ‘abused’

A system for sending zinged people from the Libyan conflict abroad for treatment has been suspended, alongside it came to light it has been abused.

Tens of thousands of people were injured during the eight month conflict in the country and the interim government has made sending them abroad for help one of its highest priorities.

But it has emerged that thousands of people who never saw battle have been receiving free medical care in countries like Egypt, Tunisia and Jordan.
